Join us

We are looking for enthusiastic team members to kick off our projects! Join us for question-driven, data-heavy, and collaborative science! Overall we are always happy to receive applications from candidates interested in the development and application of machine learning, deep learning, population genetics, ecology and causal models for microbiome and ageing research.

PhD Students

We are looking for exceptional PhD students to develop and apply computational frameworks to study host-microbe interactions, with a particular focus on age-series and longitudinal datasets. Applications are through the Leibniz Graduate School on Aging and Age-Related Diseases (LGSA) program.

Postdoctoral researchers

We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher to design and apply machine learning algorithms to study host-microbiome interactions during ageing. The candidate will have flexibility to develop their own project and/or work on predefined projects that focus on data integration challenges and predictive modelling.

Senior Bioinformatician

We are looking for an exceptional candidate for a senior bioinformatician position to establish data analysis pipelines in the lab and support the PhD students and postdocs in their projects. The candidate can also lead their own projects to develop data integration strategies and analysis pipelines.
